About
Snacko Games is a small, independent games catalog built to the standard of the biggest web-game portals — instant play, honest descriptions, zero clutter. The difference is editorial: every entry is described by a human who played it, with real play times, difficulty and accessibility notes. Quantity is how the large portals win; we compete on whether each entry deserves its shelf space. During the preview phase described on every page, that answer is being tested rather than claimed.
Editorial method
- Games enter the catalog only as candidates: records whose rights, source and embed URL are recorded but unverified.
- A human tests each candidate hands-on and writes the summary, controls, difficulty and accessibility notes you see on its page. Feed marketing copy is never republished as editorial.
- A game becomes playable only when its redistribution license, domain approval and human review all pass. Every page shows that status openly.
- Any material change — URL, rights, geography, content — sends a game back to pending review automatically.
Audience
Snacko Games is written for a general adult audience, 16 and over. There are no accounts, no chat, no user uploads, no behavioral profiling and no personalized recommendations — the product is the catalog, not a feed about you.
Current status
This is a preview build: search engines are asked to ignore the site entirely. Six open-source games are playable now under their upstream licenses; every other listed entry is an unlicensed candidate with no Play button, by design. This page will be updated as games pass review.
